The Diarist
I have decided to add a new page to my blog devoted to the world’s famous diarists. The idea came to me yesterday evening after reading an article about Anaïs Nin. Conceptually and by design, my blog is a photographic diary; while I am unrecognized as a diarist, I do consider myself a sincere practitioner of the craft.
Including a page dedicated to diarists seems appropriate. Even though the topic is not directly related to photography, diary writing is a central part of my life and work, and I have a true curiosity about other accomplished writers within the genre.
Ideally, learning about these writers will help me on a personal level, providing deeper insight into my own writing and life. I also hope to give others the opportunity to learn and grow by sharing the stories of these diarists who changed the world.
